sound but no picture question
every now & then, when i turn on my samsung ln52a550, which is connected
to dish tv, i'll get the sound but no picture. if i power of & back on, the picture comes on like normal. any ideas? thanks.

Also, bad connections are notorious on the HDMI connectors on those units. Are you using the HDMI for sound as well as video? Leonard

surround system if that tells you anything.

Or through the \ surround receiver? Direct run might work better fot the handshaking. And a long shot . . . rebooting [unplugging] your Dish 720 _might_ clear it up.
