Good news is, it is back available at WalMart, & the price is down to
$437. Bad news is, they don't actually have any, at least in my area.

Pardon me, do you have a reason for saying this, or are you just being
flippant??

Costco has it (VW32L40A) for $429, but over Christmas it was down to
$389.

I've just never liked the look or performance of Vizio TVs. Nothing
earthshaking. Just not my "cup of tea." I don't particularly care
for Westinghouse LCDs, either.

[You *did* see my smiley face, no?]

I asked because when I viewed the Vizio plasma last fall, the picture
looked very blurry; I thought it surely it was defective/wrongly set-
up, but the salesman argued w/ me that I was seeing things. Before I
could go to another store to see a different unit, they stopped
selling them. My experience was markedly at variance w/ the users'
comments at the WalMart site, & for the Insignia 32 inchers also,
which is what made me think it was that particular set.

Vizio says they are leaving the plasma market.
A price drop is possible.

Sorry - I overlooked that this thread was about the plasma model. My
comments were regarding the LCD model.
