Default Digital STB for TV with no scart

Hi

I'm looking for a STB to use with a TV that has no SCART. It's not worth
buying a TV as a replacement. If I can find a reasonable STB for around £30
it would be just the job.

Any possibilities?

Have you looked at the TVonics site. They had a teensy little thing meant
for those cheap portables which used the earial socket, but of course its
not going to be of much use for anything else!

I had seen that Argos has a TVonics unit for around £28 IIRC?

I did wonder if anyone else had experience of it?

Cheap sounds OK as the TV ain't worth a lot! But it'll be OK in my shed!

Look on Ebay for a modulator, they are usually going for around £12.

Or use an old VCR.

The Argos website lists £38.99 for the MFR-200. There is one on offer from
today in Aldi for £34.99.

Pretty sure they are around £20 or even less. Just look for one with a
modulator.

I have an Aldi one on my kitchen set and it's fine.
