A free event for the creative and digital media industries- 26 March
2009, The Old Market, Hove

Creativity and innovation are words that are banded about but what do
they really mean in practical terms and how can they be applied
effectively and profitably?

This event specifically for the creative and digital media industries
will look at the opportunities to work together, the
ways creativity is cultivated and how productive partnerships can be
formed.

Confirmed speakers include:

Charles Leadbeater, a leading authority on innovation and creativity
and
the author of “We-think: the power of mass creativity”, which charts
the rise
of mass, participative approaches to innovation from science and open
source
software, to computer games and political campaigning.

Ken Thompson, an expert practitioner in the area of swarming,
virtual enterprise networks, virtual professional communities and
virtual teams
and has published two landmark books: “Bioteams: High Performance
Teams Based
on Nature's Best Designs” and “The Networked Enterprise: Competing for
the
future through Virtual Enterprise Networks”
