Default Any small 1080p TV sets for use as computer monitor as well?

I want a small 22" or so LCD TV that I can use as
computer monitor as well

Given the use as a computer monitor wouldn't I want a
1080p set as well to get the best use as computer
monitor?

If yes,,, does anyone make good SMALL 1080p sets?

I've got two LG HD monitor tv's (needs Freeview or satelitte
receiver connected to get tv).
The picture is stunning,I've got a FreeVIEW and a FreeSAT receiver
connected and my PC as well.
They cost just under £200 delivered from Saverstore .com.
720p but picture looks like 1080p.Only 1 HDMI con though but
2 scarts.
HD reception is exceptional.

Still need to know if 1080p is best in my usage
scenario

you might have more luck looking for a computer monitor that has tv
inputs? - assuming you have a tuner of some sort to connect to it.

Yeah I may have to... dunno

Id really like to use a TV tho as might be handy at
times to just have the TV only on and using its built
in tuner

he's talking about use as a monitor - 1080p would make a difference
there. plus, 1080p is needed to view 1080i at it's best.

It sounds like you are kind of new at this.

On a screen that small you are not going to notice a difference between
1080i and 1080p (and 720p)

I realize with off air TV programming it wont make any
diff.....

My question is NOT abt that.... instead I want to know
if 720p will make for good PC monitor? Or if better to
get 1080p unit
