Default Occasional buzz with Panny plasma

I have a Panny 50" Freesat plasma, and very occasionally, I hear a
slight buzz coming from the top left corner. If I touch the screen or
even the casing in that area, it stops. Let go and it starts again,
but slowly fades away after a few minutes. Any ideas?

Marky, there's a well-know fix for this. Squirt a full tube of No More Nails
all over that part of the screen. It never fails.

IN the absence of any sensible replies, are there any fixing screws near the
area? It could be that the case is just resonating a bit but the actual
vibrating part is elsewhere. Sometimes just tweaking the screws can change
the stresses enough to stop such things, at least until whatever is
vibrating finally gives itself away.

I can recall asking why there was an old Christmas card under a friends rear
right foot of the mini hi fi. He took it out and there was a buzz through
the shelf.
Strange stuff lf sound.

Of course the problem might be more serious. It could be that the warmth has
hatched out a colony of killer wasps inside the set and the engineer who
opens it to have a look with unleash a terrible disaster on humanity.

Thanks Brian for that sensible answer. As my telly is on the wall and
bloody heavy, I will wait 'till a friend comes round to help me lift
it off and tighten the screws.

There's nothing better than a sensible response, and that WAS nothing
like one!

I_beg_to_differ!
When I was in the TV trade it was standard practice to "damp"
buzzing or whistling wound components with a genorous gob of
Radiospares multi-purpose adhesive.

That's fine, but in this case there would be an undesirable side-effect: part
of the screen obscured by the gob.

OK. A suitably sized gob at the top left might obscure DOGS...Great!..But...
