I just posted this on Bargains, no harm trying here as well. I'd prefer
the plasma version (42") but Which? say the LCD is a better telly.

The best price I can find is John Lewis (£799 inc delivery and 5 year
warranty). Does anyone know of a better deal? Currys want £799 +
delivery + warranty fee.

Which? Hmmm

Didn't you check the Which site for prices? It gives the 3 best prices
as
£669.99
£681.19
£715

Looks like it could be a rip off to me. Don't Panasonic give a 5 year
guarantee for free on some of their sets?

Comet met the RS price today for me at £649
No problem they just rang RS and checked that RS do have them for sale at
that.
PC World and Currys out of stock so could not sell me one.

I'm very tempted by one of these. "Which" and all the other reviews have
good things to say about them. RS on line are out of stock and Comet want
£799 (no chance.)
I've got two spare outputs on my LNB and one of these should use one up
nicely.

John Lewis will price match in similar location - got our 37LXD70 last
year and they matched a local price - got £100 off and free 5year
(worth c.£150-200) - well pleased with it but the "start-up" on remote
is strange - have to wait 2-3mins before works properly - all 3
replacements JL supplied were the same - living with it now!
Performance stunning - but we sit well back from it.
