The Panasonic 81 range all half dozen appear to have Freesat built in.
The regular models all appear to get good reviews 70 models best results
followed by the 80 models.
Now I'm wondering about Freesat 81 to purchase but as they appear to be
lower price than ordinary models I wonder if they are not as good picture
quaulity?

I was looking at them in John Lewis Southampton yesterday. They look good.

BTW, despite the credit crunch etc, the TV dept was like a scene from Spartacus !

There is no sign of a recession in the high street. Leading up to Xmas
people were spend spend spend before the big discounts arrived. I know JL at
Soton well and its the most friendly, well assistanced (is there such a
word) shopping place in Soton. I used there tinternet system to by a Boss
iPod sound system and it arrived in 2 days. Very good, though they are a
little expensive with TV's but I suppose that's cos they offer 2 or 3 year
warranties.

I was most impressed with JL too. We saw a couple of lamps we wanted. They
were out of stock, I asked if we could order them, and have them sent to our
local (Reading) branch. They couldn't do that, but what they could do was
better, they found two at their Liverpool store, and are sending them FOC
direct to my work address.

You're right, I've found the staff at both So'ton and Reading always to be
very helpful and knowledgeable.
