Default Editing downloaded tv

Just getting started in downloading tv with my new august usb device.

I`m using WMC to download and it`s working well. What is the best
editing software to use on my downloaded programme.

Thank you.

I like Videoredo - http://www.videoredo.com/en/index.htm
It's not free, but they do a 30-day trial so you can try it out.

There is a guide as to how to make DVDs on the Toppy web site. - which may
get you started.

Thanks for the prompt replies.

Is there an alternative to WMC? The Blaze software that came with the
August USB won`t work at all.

I`m finding the different file formats rather confusing, are there any
web sites or forums I can consult?

Thank you.

I can confirm that Videoredo is definitely worth the money for editing, and
for reception and downloading I find that my WinTV Nova DTT card works far
better with DVB Dream that with the original Hauppauge software.

Virtualdub is always good for a spin...

Works for me depends of course what format the files are in though.

There's a lot of freeware out there.
These two are worth a try.
