Anyone else lose signal completely around 1am last night? I couldn't
get anything on any of the muxes, but it appears to be working fine again now. (I don't usually watch TV at 1am, but I had a 4 week old baby that wouldn't sleep!) BBC transmitter work page doesn't show anything. Matt |

Would have been nice to have had pre-warning on at least one of the websites (or a post event report if it was unplanned). Matt |

As it happens, I managed to watch the final match of the Baseball "World" Series (apparently an American team has been world champion every year it has been held - they must be very good) which, whilst not my first choice of viewing, made for a mildly interesting diversion. Shakespeare didn't find them necessary and neither do I. As far as I'm concerned the English language was complete before they were invented, and is able to express all nuances of meaning and emotion quite adequately as long as the reader is reasonably perceptive. An excellent observation, but lacking one other vital ingredient -- context. "They rowed throughout the night." "He drew the curtains with style." |
