I this case there is no such thing as a free lunch and the cost of the
'free' goods is factored into the price of the other services that you
have to sign up to at the same time

No because you will own the TV from day one.

You will be bound by the contract however.

No doubt there is a lot of dubious small print (a speciality of $ky and the
Carphony Warehouse)

Are you trying to imply that Carphone Warehouse is run by rentboys?

In fact, Groningen (de stad) is not in Holland, neither North Holland nor
South Holland, but in the province of Groningen, and was originally a
part of Frisia.

People would not say "just move to England" if there was a news
article about the City of Aberdeen, would they?

Many would :-( . Especially if they were American or French.

And many English people refer loosely to 'England' when they mean the
UKofGB&NI.

It is a bad habit amongst BBC commentators.

And we should all stop staying that Comrade Secretary General Iosif
Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili was a Russian, even state controlled Russian
Federation television networks.

The Postbank used to send mail to one of its account holders addressed
as "Edinburgh, Scotland, Engeland". He was not best pleased and could
not get it fixed. Plenty of Dutch people consider anything north and
west of them as "Engeland".
