Default Moving the sky box

All

The wife has decided she wants the fireplace removed and the TV moved
to where it was. (Anyone want to buy a pine fireplace with electric
fire and marble hearth?

This is only a couple of metres, but it's two metres more cable than I
currently have from the dish.

Should I completely replace the two feeds from the dish, or can I get
a simple extra two lengths of co-axial cable and connectors to run to
the Sky+ box?

TIA
Ed

Extend the two cables using back to back F connectors.

Increasing the length of the cable will probably be fine, I have joins
(and splitters) in mine.

You need 4 F connectors, 2 lengths of Satellite cable (NOT TV coax) and
2 threaded F barrels (female to female)

See someone like satcure for bits, or even a ready made extension

Neither. Get rid of the wife. Since when have woman had any say in
audio visual matters? Harrumph. They'll be wanting the bloody vote
next!

Beats the ph*ck outa me why people cut it exactly to length, on
installation.

I left a room's widtha slack on my cable.

Why wouldn't you ?

TMK argos have a satellite extension kit for less than £10 .

Had i installed it I would have done, but 'sky bloke' did it, so
presumably was saving his cable for a rainy day

Indeed.

Only a moron like "John I installed my own Sky dish, Me! Smith", would ever
think of installing his own satellite dish in the first place.

Must have been an old dish and box he picked up for a few quid from
a bloke down the pub.

Do you want to buy a couple of Acro Jacks to hold up the upstairs hearth and
chimney breast?

Get another wife.

That can be much more expensive than a bit of rewiring.
