Default Need a freeview box? cheepy WITH a modulator? Now £19.99 ALDI

This minature freeview box made by Tvonics
http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_4409.htm

has been spotted reduced to £19.99

Useful "with modulator" replacement for those Setpal boxes recently
borked by the recent transmission changes, that were previously in use
on SCART-less television sets and now headed for the dustbin.

They're not recently b0rked, they've been b0orked since they day they
were sold, but in such a way that has not mattered until now.

Well I'll take out the accidental crossposting and maybe I'll get a
sensible answer.
So . . . . whats the problem with Setpal boxes?
I've got one here that belongs to my son. It doesn't work.
Just done a google - - blast it. End of May it stopped working.

Setpal boxes are no longer supported. No wonder it wont receive anything.
So it's Tesco for a new (less than £20) box then.
Anyone else caught out?
