Found this site earlier. They have a handy calculator on the site to tell
you how much your aerial installation will cost.

http://www.digitalaerials.tv/index.p...tpage&Itemid=1

Go to FAQ, then click on "how much will it cost".

The numbers don't add up for me.

This part of the site is very good:

My sister needs a new outdoor aerial because her loft one does not work
for
digital.

If I thought for one minute I have could have it fixed for 100 quid, I'd
call them out tomorrow.

I kind of suspect that my 100 quid will get me an aerial on the roof,
unconnected in any way to the TV and if I want that as well (and who
wouldn't), we'd either get a dodgy cable thrown down the side of the house
and pushed in through a window, or a much larger bill.

(Comments welcome, as I really do need to get this fixed for her, it
drives
me crazy every time I'm there!)

Why not add £50 to the cost of getting a digital aerial and get sky
freesat fitted for a one off £150 payment .

I dont work for them or anything - its just a bloody good deal .

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is no chance she will put up with a dish on her wall!

'Hook line and sinker' comes to mind. I did think it was
a placeholder, but I confess I haven't come across this
before.

Some one ought to do a door-to-door survey.

Mr Q: Why won't you put up a dish to receive satellite TV?

Ms A: I don't like murdoch, the Sun and that trashy TV. I have my own
mind, thank you ...

Mr Q: But you could have FreeSat! ...

Ms A: Yeah, but it's still a Dish! Besides, What would the neighbours
think??

Well, personally speaking, I think its lovely to see a company which
takes for granted the fact that we all have a sound grounding in the
classical arts. As a gentleman, I shall therefore use them,
exclusively, for all my aerial contracting needs for the foreseeable
future.

Likewise. Fascinating stuff, and gratifying for some reason to know
that even Latin scholars are capable of talking ********.

Now if I want to ridicule something and sound clever at the same time I
can say "That sounds like a load of lorem ipsum to me".

I feel educated.

It's quite common among web site developers to stick a chunk of Latin on
a web page to see what a chunk of text will look like. Of course the
text is supposed to be replaced with something meaningful before the
site is published.

I call that a radical interpretation of the text.
