Default Zenith DTT900 vs DTT901: audio issues

I've read where the 900 had a hiss in the left channel. Does anyone know if
the 901, in adding analog pass-through fixed this issue? I've heard Zenith
was aware of the hiss and am hoping this was a fix in the 901.

Thanks.

I've looked in AVS Forum and found some good reviews that say the
audio HAS been fixed. I'd be inclined to go for the Zenith as they
invented the VSB standard.

Almost certainly, because it was reportedly fixed in later builds of
the 900, those made in April or later. I have an April 900 and don't
hear it, but I'm not sure I would. In a test of mosquito ringtones I
can hear 12 KHz but not 14 KHz.

I haven't heard the hiss in the few tests I've done so far. Once I get a
better antenna mount set up and put a CM 4228 on it to get more stations,
I'll be able to do more extensive comparison (by actually using it on a
regular basis).
