Does anyone know if there's going to be a Big Brother live feed on
Freeview this year?

If it's sponsored by Virgin then the live feed will be on their TV and
Interweb services.

Does anyone know if people will put BB in the subject headings to kill
all postings of that **** excuse for entertainment?

According to Julie Burchill (whoever she is?), in the paper this
morning, if you don't like reality TV, then you're either a liar (you do
really watch it, but don't let on) or you're an "airy-fairy
seat-sniffer"

Also, if you don't watch it then you're some kind of saddo, that keeps
the TV in a cupboard only bringing it out to watch documentaries and
Newsnight.

Us haters actually envy the people in the house as we can't stand their
"high-spirits and seemingly limitless capacity for fun".

I'm sorry, there's more, spread across a double-page feature, actually,
but I really couldn't bring myself to read anymore of the ****e.

It's bad enough that all variants of C4 are pretty much off-limits for
the next 12 weeks or so, if that was the extent of it, it wouldn't be so
bad, but all the BB **** infests newsgroups, forums and newspapers too.

Thank **** for the football this summer, even without England taking
part, at least it'll be an escape from BB.

Oh well, a few more weeks and we'll have the Proms - or does that make me a
saddo too, just for watching what I like, instead of what Julie Burchill
(whoever she is) thinks I ought to like?

Whenever I want reality I switch the television OFF.

Rod.

I've never thought watching the Proms on TV adds that much to the
enjoyment over radio. Often rather the reverse. Especially the prattle.

You should know that some people feel the same about grown men playing
with balls as you do about BB. And how many hours of broadcasting and
acres of newsprint are devoted to that?
