Is it just me or has the TV reception deteriorated of late. I use Blackhill but
recently BBCs 1&2 have been attrocious and the rest not much better. Anyone

Heavy tree foliage and the rain/wind can be very bad for digital reception.
Especially on the 64QAM multiples (ITV)

My digital reception (just outside Warwick) from Sutton Coldfield has been
terrible for the last few days. On Monday, virtually nothing was working.
Tuesday was a bit better - but with pictures still breaking up on most
channels. Today is very bad. I can't get BBC1 or 2 at all and even BBC
Parliament is breaking up - and that has been one of the most reliable
channels in the past.

I haven't analysed which muxes are working - but I assume it's something to
do with the weather conditions which is affecting some frequencies more than
others.

No problems with SC here at the fringes above Evesham.

Yes, I had the BBC Mux from Hannington (UHF Ch 50) bouncing up and down
over a range of about 12dB on Monday, in all the torrential rain, and
wind. My aerial looks through some large deciduous tress. My Topfield
PVR was unaffected, but our Sony IDTVs did suffer brief bursts of break up.

C4 analogue (Ch 66) always drops considerably in summer, but this was
the first time any DTT muxes had been noticeably affected.
