The final tonight is being broadcast in Freesat HD by the ITV on... er.....
er..... er.. Sorry I've forgotten the reference numbers.

That's funny, the picture on the ITV HD stream looks very much like HD
to me.

Lyngsat don't seem to have caught up with ITV HD, at least there's nothing
listed he http://www.lyngsat.com/hd/28east.html I guess it should be on
one of ITV's transponders on the Astra 2D satellite, but there's nothing in
the list for 2D either. I wonder what is the frequency, polarisation etc.
for the ITV HD stream? If anyone knows it perhaps we should tell Lyngsat.

So it appears to be Eurobird 1 at 28.5 East, Transponder C5 Upper Half,
11.428 GHz Horizontal, symbol rate 27500, FEC 2/3 but there's some sort of
fiddle going on with the ID numbers that you have to "hack".

Since it's on Eurobird 1 anyone can watch ITV HD anywhere in Europe, so long
as they can hack the ID.
