I have searched the web and groups... The only questions I see are
from 2003... I want to have a (mostly) foolproof method of using the (free) TiVo desktop connected to my Series 2 TiVo machine, copy the *.tivo files to my PC, and convert the files to the proper format to burn them onto a DVD which can be viewed with a standard DVD player. I understand that TiVo will restrict the copying of movies and such from the premium channels... that's OK, I just want to save some TV shows... I don't want to spend $99 for Roxio... I would like a free (Open Source?) method... There should be an easier way... I KNOW someone out there has done it... PLEASE let me know how!! Thanks in advance... |
