Has disppeared for the second time in a week.
I'm having to watch the Beeb on analog. Can anyone confirm whether this is a transmitter problem of if we have an aerial problem. TIA tim |

TIA tim Take a look at http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/engineering_works work on the transmitter would cause the symptoms that you describe, the BBC mux is mux 1. If your reception is generally good apart from these recent breaks, then it would point to transmitter work. However, people with borderline reception can experience problems in early May as trees come into leaf combined with an extra years growth (the higher transmission power following digital switch over should help alleviate this problem). Also, his close proximity to French transmissions coupled with the current local low power transmissions must introduce a complex myriad of variables.
