No it's about getting you out of you car and into a good pair of wallking
shoes.
No more foreign holidays either.
Work within 3 mile of your home too (walking distance).

It's the future, mark my words.

That's an old philosophy. It comes in several flavours. "The more
bitter the medicine, the more good it will do you." "Anything you
enjoy doing is bad, anything you hate doing is good."

Nothing whatsoever to do with it.
Just a fact of life.

So put on your hair shirt and try to live as miserably as possible -
that's *bound* to do some good.

The good ol' Protestant work ethic, eh?

All it is is propaganda to make poor people believe that they are
somehow better off than the rich people.

There's a miserabilist streak in most greenies. It goes with the territory.
They just enjoy telling everyone else what to do.

Yes, they do all they can to make us use public transport, but it will be a
long time before the government and the leaders of industry stop using their
big cars and their helicopters.

Presumably the supermarts are behind this. It makes them look green (which
impresses the thick) and it rakes in a lot of 5ps.

I'd be happy to support this, if -- and only if -- the full 5p per
carrier bag goes directly to charity. Sadly this would never work,
as 95% of it would end up funding a committee tasked with deciding
which charity gets the remaining 0.25p per plastic bag...

They may well starve to death but I imagine most people faced with this
prospect would not be willing to go quietly. You will see riots and wars
before
that happens, you might not be able to afford to feed your self but
a gun is a going look very cheap in comparision food prices.
Torching fuel stations selling biofuel or torching cars which run on biofuel
would be a sensible starting point.

It's the wonderful stuff like this that keeps Turkey Trot out of the KF
here, man do they put LSD in the turkey feed pellets?

Well f*ck me, it seems biofuel has destroyed land available
for food crops in a couple of months than global warming would have
done in the next century.

Seems like some overpaid moron w*anker scientist/enviromentlist
has got his sums wrong somewhere down the line.

What has this got to do with uk.tech.digital-tv?

I expect Turkey Trot saw something about it on a 16:9 aspect digital TV.

As every petrol station is by law selling petrol with 2½ % biofuel, turkey
brain is going to be busy.
