A grid map reference would be helpful. I need to align a new digital aerial.

There is no such thing as a "digital" aerial! Keep your head well down
and be prepared for a lot of flak from certain people on this forum
(mentioning no names.)

Over to you, Bill

Oh, what's the use? What about that golden turd on a stick the other day?
That was a 'digital aerial' apparently, despite the fact that all Emley Moor
signals are withing Gp B and it was of course wideband.

Type your postcode into Wolfbane
http://www.wolfbane.com/cgi-bin/tvd.exe?
The location and bearing are in the resulting data

Often a wideband aerial is often erroneously sold as 'digital aerial'
and if you are using the Crystal Palace transmitter a wideband aerial is
the last thing you want.

Oh come now Bill. You can make a digital aerial any time - just hold a
length of CT100 in the palm of your hand, whilst extending the central digit
of said hand upwards.

There you are - a "digital" aerial. Just remember to point it in the right
direction...

Are there really pedants here who will differentiate between aerial for
digital and digital aerial?

Oh dear.

There's no such thing as an "aerial for digital" either. It's just a
decent aerial for the correct group - in some situations (like mine) no
change.

Where in the smoke are you? London has quite a few relay stations like
Ally Pally for example...
