Default Virgin V+ Remote Control Sensor

Hi,

I have a V+ box in a cupboard under my TV. As the V+ box is behind
doors, whenever i want to change channel i have to open the door. Is
there any way of attaching a sensor to the V+ box that will allow me
to change the channels while the doors are closed? I noticed that
there is a Remote Sensor IN socket at the rear of the V+ box.

Hope someone can shed some light?

Anthony

There are also connections for USB and SATA on the back of the box and I
know (following enquiries) that these have not been enabled by Virginmedia.
I don't know about the Remote Sensor input.

The best resource for the answer to your enquiry are the virginmedia
newsgroups, staffed by VM techs. The newsgroup you need is
virginmedia.support.tv
The newsgroup server that I use is text.news.virginmedia.com

Can't you glaze the door? ;-)
