Default GET RID OF THE BLOODY DOG!

Why have they started showing a new episode when I want to go to bed. I'm
only watching the bbc 2 ones.

Incidentally, its a good job HMV do not have a channel as they would have a
dog of a dog...

Complaint to the BBC and to the Torchwood production team.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood/faq/contact.shtml

http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/

http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/compla...istageform3.pl

BBC3 has become totally unwatchable because of the hideous gigantic new
bright purple and white DOG which has been inflicted on viewers with no
consideration given whatsoever to the damage it will cause to their
Plasma, CRT's, OLED and even LCD screens because of burn in, or to their
eyes for the same reason.

On tuning in to watch the new episode of Torchwood the DOG was made even
worse and more offensive by having the word "new" written under it, as if
I was so stupid that I didn't know that they were showing a new episode,
like I wouldn't have known if I had not seen it before and despite the
fact that BBC2 had already announced that it was a new episode to begin
with.

No only does the DOG unnecessarily take up a quarter of the screen because
it is so huge, but it has been placed towards the middle of the image and
is lit up so bright at maximum intensity that it is as obtrusive as it
could possibly be.

The only way I could watch Torchwood without being distracted or half
blinded during parts of the episode when it was dark which was 95% of the
time, was to cover up the DOG with silver foil and even then the DOG was
so bright that it shone past the edges of the foil to a radius of one
centimetre in all directions, causing even more damage to the phosphor on
my TV.

I DEMAND that the DOG is removed from all BBC3 programmes immediately
otherwise I will not watch BBC3 ever again, just like have never watched
FiveLife or FiveUS since they started because the gigantic DOGs are so
offensive.

I am fed up of having my intelligence insulted by the BBC and other
broadcasters since I know what channel I have tuned into and can always
find out the name of the channel that's on at any time by pressing the
info or EPG button on my remote control.

Do not bother replying to this complaint with another copy of your
insulting standard reply letter which does not address any of the issues I
have raised otherwise I will complain again, and will take legal action
against the BBC for the damage the DOG is causing to the phosphor on my TV
and to my LCD display.

I normally disagree with everything Aggy says, but I have to agree on this
one.

Obviously the Beeb is run by kids straight out of college who think they've
got to be a clone of the ITV channels and latch on to everything that's
"new" and "fashionable".

It's complete ******** - there is absolutely NO need for the Beeb to use
DOGs. They don't compete for advertising, so they don't need to obsess
about stupid branding tricks like these.

In fact, perhaps the absence of any DOGs would be a stronger branding
statement than any stupid pinky purple graphic.

Is it really worth missing programmes you'd like to see just because
of a logo? Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

If people like you actually did stop watching
because of this instead of just pretending, you wouldn't just be
dismissed as some sort of weirdo.

No, the BBC would just shut the station down or fill it with repeats.

Hi,
Sorry I'm even going to scroll down to the bottom.
NO, I will not complain to the BBC, they do not care!
A complete waste of time.
Sorry but it true.

You've been complaining all this time about homosexuality, and too
much kissing, bestiality, and other bits of immorality, and now it's
the dog that's making BBC3 totally unwatchable?

Ironic he was watching Torchwood which is little more than Russell T
Davies poofter fantasy brought to the screen. If theres an episode
where 2 men don't kiss I've yet to see it.

Ditto, but not to the extent that I would write such a nonsensical
letter of complaint

The DOG is IMHO OK if semitransparent as I think the previous DOG
was. This lurid shade of pink/purple is distracting to me and I
might even be minded to send a note to the BBC asking them to
reconsider their dogging, but I can imagine the response that might
get

Your life must be so SMALL that you complain about things like that.
FFS Aggy, get used to it. I didn't even notice it after the first
minute or so.

I think you're in a minority then.

LOL! They'll have a RIGHT LAUGH at you when they get that letter.
It'll go straight in the BBC Nutter File where it belongs.

You have a great talent for making yourself look stupid, and, even
better, you alert others to how stupid you are! Hilarious. Thanks for
the entertainment.

Do you work for the BBC or something? Maybe you're a marketing idiot
for BBC3? I can't see any other reason for being such an apologist for
something that people clearly hate.

Lee.

Read what I said Lee. I was mocking Aggy for his nutty letter to the
BBC, not the fact that the DOG is unnecessary. It's really a big fuss
over nothing isn't it? Come on, lighten up.
