How to Connect Laptop to SONY HDTV (KDL52W3000)

Greetings!
Thanks in Advance.

I got DELL Inspiron and SONY HDTV.

THe laptop has HD15 VGA output (dont have S-Video), and the TV also
has the same. what are the cables i need to have to use my TV instead
monitor?

can any one give step step instructions? Becuase i was going through
various thread but i have no success implemtning them.

you just need a vga cable and an audio cable - connect up the laptop and
tv,
then look at your desktop properties and make sure it's set to 2 monitors -
then make sure the resolution is correct.
it should be that simple.

Standard VGA cables work for me.

Plug cable into video card/MB. Plaug other end into TV vga port. Turn on
TV. Turn on computer. Set res.

VGA cable from TV to computer and 2 audio cables for the sound.
Works great with my 37" Vizio.
