Interesting; it does seem to be Sutton Coldfield related, for all PVRs
that use the old 4TV EPG.

Certainly I've not got the same problem, but I get my tx from Winter
Hill.

Matt

Anything to do with http://www.freeview.co.uk/help/getting-freeview/q24 I
wonder?

I have exactly thr same problem as "MOO", also on Sutton Coldfield TX with
my Sony SVR-S500, which gets its EPG update at 3.00am from 4TV. Anyone know
how I may get into the engineer's menu?

Cheers,

Chris.

Shouldn't be, the Thomson DVR4000 doesn't use setpal tuners as far as
I know.

Last few days I've been getting a few 'program/film to be announced',
but only on BBC 1, I put this down to the sport over the weekend and
that
it may alter times etc.

Anyone else having trouble?

Our box only seems to pick up anything from 1 to 4 days, if we reboot
it it might get up to 7 but that's on a good day, it's a humax pvr -
so could it be the boxes that are more implicated in not picking up a
long term EPG?

There used to be a problem that the EPG provided when the machine is tuned
to one of the ITV channels (i.e. mux 2) only included the next 3 or 4 days.
I don't know whether ITV have fixed this. Try tuning in to (for example) one
of the BBC channels.
