Default Durabrand PVR £69 chez Asda

Asda are advertising a Durabrand 80gb PVR for £69 today. Is this the
same inside as the Digihome from Argos or the Vestel at DSG? The
buttons are certainly in the same place

If so it should be a bargain.

Durabrand is a branding name used by WalMart, parent company of Asda.

The closest I can find to a website is this:-

http://www.1800customersupport.com/request.aspx

But being from the US, has no details on UK DTT kit. I suspect they
are all clones of each other . For the record, two weeks on with the
Digihome 80 in my lad's room, and no problems yet.

It was advertised in the sun today. It looks identical to the vestel
box at currys but with a fancier silver case

A lot of Asda boxes are similar to Vestel but they don't receive software
updates aimed at Vestels.

Do they receive updates at all?
