It used to be interesting and potentially useful to read about how to fix things, but if the magazine really contains 7 pages of fault reports, who's going to find that useful now? And what else can it contain that couldn't be found in seconds on the internet at a cost of zero? Rod. |

I was a bit sceptical but I did send off a subscription and am really pleased to see that the mag arrived and was a good read. Many of the old contributors are back and the format is better than the old one had become. Donald Bullock, A day in the life, Roger Bunney, Test Case, all there. Long may this continue, but it will need our support both as buyers and contributors. I think fault reports are relevent. I think anything we can do to help each other and compare notes is good. Independent businesses can help each other to stay afloat by sharing ideas of good practice and quality workmanship. Also by comparing notes we can have a laugh and stop ourselves going completely mad as we realise that we are not the only ones with completely impossible customers who want miracles for peanuts. Enthusiasts exist and like to compare notes and so long as the editor keeps to his stated and intended format, I am sure he will make a success of it. |

"widgitt" wrote in message ... Not sure about that. There isnt a bar code on the front, which might be a clue, although it looks fully professional. Acorn Media Publications Ltd, Ashurst, Ham Manor Way, Angmering, West Sussex, BN16 4JQ Publisher: Tony Greville 01903 774481 Yes, I've had some contact with Tony. I suppose I'd better stop being so cautious and subscribe to the bloody thing. Bill |

Never mind subscribing, how about getting a few published? Martin. |
