Bush PVR EPG problem

I got my father a used Bush IDPVR02 Freeview PVR maybe 6 months ago.
At first the EPG showed only programmes on at the time, and the next
one, but after upgrading the PSU, as recommended on some forums, that
prob was fixed.

Now, though, not only is there no EPG info whatsoever, but one touch
record doesn't work either. I've tried rebooting and rescanning for
channels, but neither had any effect. I'm tempted to bin it but I
thought I'd check here first in case there are any other suggestions.

I don't know the Bush but can you do a hard reset (on the Humax this is
called 'default settings'?

Don't know. Dad can't manage that sort of thing himself these days and
I won't get back over there for a few days. Was intending to get
another box and set it up for him next time I visit but it looks like
he'll have to wait.
