everything was plugged in, and the video, DVD recorder, and analogue

By this morning, 60 hours later, I could find no information about the
transmitter, Crystal Palace I think, being down, so I wondered if it
had somehow got un-tuned (perhaps by a meddling relative fiddling with
something). However, re-tuning only brings up that it cannot find any
digital channels, only analogue ones, and add new DVB service doesn't
find any.

Any ideas, clues, help, suggestions etc. gratefully appreciated!

Honestly, if you have the unit anywhere near a boiler or heating system
that'll either lock it up or black out the screen, the latter especially
annoying if having set the DVD recorder to record something as I have
had happen.

The problem was that I had put the dect phone base station next to the
Freeview box.
