Has anyone successfully used Vonage to allow their DIRECTV TIVO (R10) to
phone home. I am contemplating getting Vonage, and want to know if the R10 can recognize it, and successfully call. John |

John I don't know about the R10, but Vonage works with my HR20 and HR21, although the caller ID doesn't always work (it was this way with POTS also). |

Even ordered a pay-per-view via the remote the other day. I currently don't have a house phone line (rely on the cell phone), but have been considering it, and Vonage is considerably cheaper than either of the two local phone companies available. Just trying to decide if it's worth it. If the TIVO can't use it, just one more reason to not spend the money. John |

Strangely enough, the HR20 has never been connected to a phone line, and doesn't nag either.
