Default "will transfer later"

I've run into a problem with my transfers. I have a dvd rip. My Tivo "ses"
the file and when I request a transfer it says it "will
transfer later" after previously scheduled programs are transferred.
There are no scheduled transfers and nothing is currently
transferring. I've restarted and rebooted the tivo but the problem
persists. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I've forgotten the pathname, but there is a directory on
the PC where TiVo keeps temporary files while transferring.
My bet is that directory contains remnants of a failed transfer
and needs to be cleared out. Sorry I can't give the path,
but I recall it wasn't hard to find.
