Default Best Buy Service Plan price discrepency

I'm looking at a Panasonic 27" HD-Ready Flat-Tube Stereo TV with 3-Line Digital
Comb filter...Model CT-27HL14...for $550 + $60 (4 year In-Home Performance
Service Plan for 25-27 inch TV's) = $610 with Free Shipping.

I'm also looking at an Advent 27" Flat Tube HD-Ready TV with 4-Line Comb
Filter...Model HT2751A..for $500 minus $50 (instant savings) + $250 Digital TV
4-Year Performance Service Plan (In Home) = $700 with Free Shipping.

My 11 year old TV just shows a thin horizontal line where the picture should
be...maybe a capacitor is beat inside of it, or maybe this TV needs replacement?

Why is the Advent different from the Panasonic? I don't get it. One has a 25-27
inch warranty available and the other has a Digital TV warranty available. Is
the Panasonic a pseudo-digital TV?

I would just guess that the Service Plan Price is miscategorized. It seems that
a $250 4 year warranty would be on a $4000 TV and not on a sub-$500 TV. But just
because I can point it out as wrong to them, doesn't mean they will take steps
to make it right. sigh

So, are there any "component" input selector switch boxes? If I had a switcher
box, I could hook up 3 or 4 things to that (DVD Players, etc.) with one (or
two?!) outputs to the TV ... and/or digital recorder.

I'm looking more at the Panasonic TV listed he CT-27HL14 because it has
variable and fixed audio outputs (to my stereo system). I channel surf too much
and most stations are not audibly "even" in loudness, so I am continually
adjusting the volume on the remote. A fixed audio out from the TV would make me
have to pick up a second remote (from my stereo system) each time I switched
channels. So I am dead set against having JUST a fixed audio out; I need a
variable as well.
In the specs here it says the TV is Digitally Compatible, but it doesn't mention
that it is an "HDTV Monitor" like the specs for the other TV (the Advent
HT2751A) says on the line for Digital Compatibility. Am I missing something
here?
I would go with the Advent TV if the Service Plan wasn't so mis-priced and the
TV had variable audio output, but it weighs 17 pounds more!

If I get a TV delivered from Best Buy, will they take it out of the box and put
it on the TV stand, and take my old TV away? These things are a bit too heavy to
deal with on my own.

OOOOH!
I just found a Zenith C27V36 27 inch HD-Ready Flat-Tube TV with 3D Y/C Comb
Filter and DVI Interface. ($650 + $250 for 4 year in home service)

It says I can get $50 of Digital Dollars if I order online, whatever that is
worth. (?)
It also says I won't find any of these Zenith 27" TV's in the stores to look
at!~
