Flying the Union Jack or indeed the Union Flag is basically saying either "I

Everyone else flies the Scottish, English or Welsh flags, or the Irish
tricolour.

Er no, most of us don't fly any flags at all.

Britain is now a multi-cultural society and flying the Union Jack
is basically saying "your excluded" to many ethnic groups.

Isn't it time in this day and age, in the 21st century, to ditch
this piece of racist gabage?

I mean British Airwrays scraped it ages ago.

Scraped what?

I see scarcely any individuals flying national flags in the UK or The
Irish Republic (more than a mile or so from the border).

Not of any real significance to most people.

Perhaps "most people" should be better educated.

Pray tell, why would most people even care?

I don't suppose they do.

Do what?

You heard.

With what?

Those things.

Learn the difference between you're and your.

Troll English doesn't have such distinctions.

Yes? But this is true of all national flags since many/most countries
are multi-cultural. I don't see much in the way of requests to stop
flying the Stars and Stripes in the USA, for example and the people
there are comprised of as many originating nationalities and creeds and
religions as you could imagine - they don't feel excluded, it's their
flag, whatever their family origins. This is our flag. So what you are
suggesting is that flags in general should be scrapped. I cannot see
why the union flag is any different - oh yes, *some* Scots and others
may not like being a part of this particular union but that is a whole
different question.

In USA you have to be American.
They got more sence than here, if you not noticed they have made English a
dirty word now.
