Default Feeding signal from multiple receivers into multiple dwellings

Hi there!
Here's the situation: In Italy, I would like to receive 4 channels
from astra at 28 degrees and 4 from astra 19 degrees. I would be using
2 dishes, split both to 4 signals leading to 8 receivers that each
would get a fixed channel. Then, I would like to bring these signals
together and feed them on different frequencies to a network of
televisions, together with terrestrial Italian channels. My objective
is, that all televisions would have a choice of 8 foreign channels
(from the dishes and received by the televisions as 8 frequencies that
don't disturb the italian channels) and the 7 italian national
channels.
I've been looking into it for weeks now, but especially the part of
bringing together the different frequencies is not clear to me.
I hope someone can explain if it's possible at all, and if so, what
equipment I would need.
thanks in advance for your advice!
Hans

What you need is

Toroidal dish with 2 - 4 quattro LNB's*

Multiswitch with Disequ see: -

http://www.emp-centauri.cz/products....ev=P.170-CP-16

Any satellite receiver can then select any channel on any satellite, plus
terrestrial is passed through.

* if you already have two dishes and quad LNB's then the model shown can
deal with it.

Use channel filter/levellers. Look at Taylor Transmitters' website. Look for
the TCFL range.

Also Look at Satellite Distribution Systems in
http://www.wrightsaerials.tv/articles.html
especially page 17.

Yes Bill will fit it for you.

Review some of his previous posts for why you should video it all for
submission to "funniest moments".

"Toroidal dish, WTF?! - Google Google - OIC - but you can't fit standard
LNBs to those, by the look of it.

ITYM "DiSEqC"

Seems to me the OP was after a SMATV system: satellite receivers &
decryption at the headend, remodulation on VHF or UHF (System B/G)
combined with off-air terrestrial feeds and distributed to N points. He
needs Bill's Italian cousin...

Yeah. But I haven't got one. Pity. I've got one who's half Greek. Will he
do?
