Default Digital aerials????

Just copied this from an installer's website.

Digital Aerials unlike analogue aerials can receive far more channels in the
same amount of space using digital technology.

It's got sod all to do with the aerial. But I suppose it looks impressive to
the punter.

I have had several phone calls from a very angry man who found us via the
website. His problems are nothing to do with me but never mind. I'm a good
listener. According to him the aerial installers used a type of cable that
resembles Alisat (ie no good) but has a strange stiff inner core. They are
members of the CAI so he complained to the body. The response was that
members could use non-bencharked cable if they wanted to. So what's the
point of having a benchmark system? The bloke says he spoke to a Mr Jenks,
so if you're lurking Tim, is this a true representation of the CAI's
attitude?

I must mention that the customer's reception problems sound to me to have
little or nothing to do with the type of cable used. His other complaints
were largely spurious, and frankly I have little sympathy with him.
Nevertheless, I was astonished if what he told me about the CAI's attitude
to the cable is true.

The ASA won't take complaints about claims on company websites, the
complaint has to be put to the local trading standards. Anyone around
New Malden prepared to make a complaint?

Something you'd thing the "official" help websites would take up!

Perhaps it's because the people squatting on the real
http://www.tvaerial.com/
wanted too much, and, if experience in this group is anything to go by, it
is a word that is commonly misspelled so might work to their advantage.
Shame they spoil that theory by spelling it correctly at least once.

All of our aerial engineers are picked first and foremost for their
attitudes and experience in the field.
