WD57732 Timer/Power light is ON but no picture

I have a year old Mitsubishi WD57732. It has put in good hours and had
no problems until now.

Now the Power/Timer green light is ON but it does not respond to the
remote control or the front controls. I did reset which cycles through
the system. TV responds to the power buttons on the remote and the TV
but nothing else.

Has any one seen this before and what was the fix?

Bulb?

Have you tried unplugging it? That sometimes helps software issues.

Are you getting sound, no picture? That'd be bad if it was the bulb
that early.

Check the thermal fuse devices, btw have seen a few of these Mits sets with
early lamp failure.
