I meant : I assume that this could be a problem with the transmitter?

I'm Winter Hill and EPG for ITV seems okay on my Toppy.

Have you done a channel re-scan in the last few weeks?
There have been a few changes - not that I think any of them would
have messed up the EPG!

I found EPG info for ITV1 missing from Winter Hill on Friday evening.
Seemed okay yesterday however.

Cheers to both of you - I have done a channel scan and forced refresh
of EPG (I use JAGs EPG) and it seems to be better than it was - but
all of the "ITV" channels only have 1 hour or so EPG info rather than
than 2 or 3 days which the non-ITV channels have.

(As an aside when I forced the EPG info download it cycled merrily
through the channels until it hit a channel called "abc1" and then the
EPG programme fell over. I assume that there was some corrupt EPG
info which JAGs programme could not cope with).

I do find Channel 4 EPG info always on the light side - do they not
transmit as much as other channels?

On my Toppy, abc1's EPG has been blank for some time. I do not watch the
channel, so do not know if it is even still transmitting.

ABC1 is no longer broadcast on Freeview. There have been few changes to
the Freeview line-up recently and if you have a TAP hanging on to old
program names or incorrect channel numbers then it could explain your
problems. Possibly you need to flush (delete?) the file that the TAP
creates and start again from a factory reset.
