PVR/DVD Recorder/Virgin Tuner - is there a box

Hi guys,

just wondering if there was a single box which could be connected to a
Virgin (formerly Telewest) cable line, and which has PVR and DVD-
recording facilities ?

Or would a better route be separates ?

I'm cost, rather than performance driven

Did you not look on their website? its called V+, no DVD though.

AFAIK, the only PVR that you can connect to a Virgin Cable TV line is their
own V+ box which doesn't have a DVD recorder, so separates is your only
option.

Though I suppose you COULD connect the SCART output of a regular Virgin
SetTop Box to some standalone PVR/DVD recorder but trying to set it to
record stuff would be a nightmare!!
