I've seen a couple of reviews when i was looking for a new amp that
mentioned hiss. This lad's review gives you a rundown of what to
expect, mentioning the headphone socket (full size) and has some
positives aswell as negatives.

I bought the Argos Acoustic Solutions matching '3 piece suite'
(Amp/CD/DAB) to investigate them:

The amp is very well featured with 'digital everything' all controlled
by the one knob and it does have have headphone socket.
