Yea, I can't imagine why members of an Xbox gaming group would get
upset that a game is not as advertised and the developers are writing
it off as a good thing.

the one "obsessing over their technical specs like some sad loner" stop
replying and just go and play the game.

maybe some of us are here because we like playing the games, rather
than obsessing over their technical specs like some sad loner.

but hey, what do i know.

each to their own, i just really don't see the fuss, the game plays
great, who gives a toss if it's upscaled slightly?

You have to admit he has a point though. MS should clarify whether a title
that doesn't render a screen at 720p should really be classed as HD or not. I
don't care either way really as I have no intention of getting any of the
consoles. If they couldn't get the game to run at an acceptable speed at 720p
then the developers should just come out and admit it, if that is the reason
of course.

If I sold you a car advertising it as benig able to do 150mph and you
complained that it couldn't, then I said it would do that if you drove it off
a cliff would you consider that acceptable? :-)

I don't see obsessing, just asking why they falsely advertise the game and
being 720p/1080i/1080p when is not.

Just for the record, I don't know myself as I'm not into kiddy consoles
ducks, but have MS stated anywhere that for a piece of software to be
classed as HD it HAS to output to at least 720p without upscaling? If they
haven't then this discussion is ultimately pointless. I would suggest to the
OP that they either return the game or carry on playing.
