Yesterday and today I've noticed that many EPG entries are appearing and
disappearing before my eyes (Humax PVR-9200T/Crystal Palace). It only seems to be happening for entries from this Saturday, but otherwise I can't see any pattern. Sometimes it's just a few programmes or most of one channel and other times it's most of the channels. I've had it when the box is tuned to different channels, such as BACK, Five and 303. Has anyone else experienced this, as it doesn't seem to be the sort of thing that indicates a fault in the box? -- Max Demian |

This is a regular occurrence with the now/next guide from Mendip, and occasional with the EPG. I've tended to assume weak signals to be the cause. If I'm watching, say, Film 4, and the now/next is missing a few channels, changing to one of those that are missing will show all. -- Ian |

Interesting as on the BBC Muxes IIRC the Now & Next was derived through the regional Code & Mux. Don't know if other channels do a similar thing. It's then called Event Information Table present/following actual (EITpf actual). Now & Next on muxes other than the one you are tuned into is called EITpf other. Sounds like your box. Changing to a mux containing the missing one fixing it means the EIT decoding is forced to reset. Richard |

Thank you for the reply, but those aren't the symptoms and the problem (which only occurred for a few days) seems to have gone away for now. The memory problem occurred with the 8000T I believe. -- Max Demian |
