Default OK Murdoch, you've got me

After many years away I'm going back to Murdoch. Try as I might I just can't
get perfect DTT where I am. I was going to wait for the BBC/ITV freesat
offering, but Rupert's combined broadband, phone & telly package is pretty
good now they've dropped the £10 premium to use SKY+. I currently pay £19.99
for 8mb BB which includes all 01/02 phone calls. £22 gets me pretty much the
same along with the telly & recording facility (have to shell out £99 for
the SKY+ box mind).

I was going to do that but the restrictions on the broadband usage is just
too much. 3GB per month.... I can do that in two days! If you don't download
large files though, I suppose it is good for certain people.

The freesat offer from sky is 150 installed. Or DIY plenty of S/Hand sky
boxes around. And then get the ADSL for a decent provider such as
eclipse....

Can you use SKY+ without a sub? Since having a Pace Twin years ago, & then
the Fusion 150, hard drive recording is a must, I never watch a thing live
now.

3Gb? You get 2Gb on the 2Mb base pack for free, which would be ideal for
somone like my old fella who just grabs emails now & then. I'm on about the
Mid option for £5 on top of the TV pack, which is 8Mb with 40 giggers a
month, more than enough for me. If you use obscene amounts they do 16Mb
unlimited for a tenner.
Your exchange must be unbundled for these prices though.

Yes, but only if yopu subscribe to a certain number of Sky packages -
if you only use Sky to weatch the free to air and free to view
channels then it's 10 quid per month

It's now £75 (+£25 if you don't want the phone connection)

Next week, the sun newspaper will be distributing a free sample of crack
cocaine.
