Default Maxent @ Costco?

Hello good people

I am about to buy my second plasma and looking at 42" Maxent sold for
$799 at Costco.com. It will be used mostly for DVD's and video games,
not TV.

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product... e=&lang=en-US

Does anyone have any experience with this TV? why is it few hundred
bucks cheaper than anything else out there?

Thanks!!!!

One reason it is cheaper is because it is a Maxent. They may
be decent, but never the less, they are an off brand. Also,
it is a monitor, therefore, no digital tuner. Generally
speaking, plasmas aren't good for video games.

I don't know about their plasmas but I bought a 26 " LCD at Costco ~ 2
1/2 years ago for the Bedroom. It has been flawless. I'd buy another.

I bought a Maxent 42" Plasma monitor from Best Buy almost 2 years ago
for almost twice that price, and I've been pretty happy with it.
Someone else in this thread said plasmas were no good for video games,
but I have to disagree. I have a Gamecube hooked up via composite,
and an XBox360 connected via component, and they both look great. The
XBox games in HD (720p) look completely awesome. It's too bad I suck
at video games.
