Default Replacing Sky box with Sky+

I have Sky multiroom with a Sky+ box in one room and a standard Sky box in
the other.

I'd like to replace the standard box with a Sky+ box.

Will I have to re-register the new box and card combination with Sky?

Will the Sky+ box work with a single feed in? That is, will I be able to
record?

TIA

Martin

Kinda - but it can be a real pain in the balls. You can record the channel
you are watching but setting up unmonitored recordings can involve setting
dummy programs to make sure it uses the active input.

If you have any DIY knowledge and can go up a ladder adding a new feed is
very easy.

Thanks Steeler, I'll do a bit of research then find a ladder...

Rod Hull (of the emu fame) went up on his roof to adjust the tv aerial and
fell off killing himself.

So apologies to anyone who was offended by my remark.

when I got my Sky+ fitted they replaced the old cables which were almost 10
y.o. as well. I was getting loads of no satelite signals and now it works
perfectly and Sky don't overcharge for installation. I reckon occasionally
it is worth having an expert look at your aerial..
