Post the damned link! There is not a chance of poor old phil doing that. If he did, there would be less reason for me to keep reminding him that he is an ignorant, self important, hypocritical blow hard. He seems to thrive on the attention. Right now it isn't illegal for me to machine tool every part of a Ferrari and put it together. Have you checked that assertion with your patent lawyer? Yeah, there's no legal issue till Ferrari finds out and complains, if they complain. Actually Ferrari DID complain when the hero dudes of Miami Vice went cruising around in a phony 365GTB Daytona. Ferrari sued, but then offered them a Testarossa, figuring the advertising was worth more than the lawsuit It sorta proves my point, actually. --oTTo-- |

Your point that giving away a free car to a bunch of rich jerks injures Ferrari less than having a fake one drilled into every TV viewer's consciousness, you mean? Or your point that you're as valuable in customer recognition as the Boy and His Dog star and that other guy? Possibly true, but I doubt it'll net you a free car. ¬R |

I suspect you might get a call from an Italian lawyer (eventually, and then only while she's drunk, and the phones are working), when you make that part with the dancing horse on it - they seem real touchy about that - and each of the three, trade and service marked, hues of red. |

It is a solicitation for comment. Do you have a link to the actual, final act? That is what counts. |
