Default failed recording + deleted recordings

Not going well so far on Sky HD.
I had two programmes recorded and they have gone missing. They were there as
I had started to view one of them the previous day.
Then I had one recording fail due to out of disc space, yet I have 98% free.

Are these common problems?

I am still within my first month cancellation period and things are not
looking great. It deleted my episode 5 of Heroes dammit and I have not seen
it yet.

Heroes is being repeated often enough, the next repeat is Sunday I think.
They seem to have settled down to showing it in HD one episode ahead. So
BBC2 will be showing ep5 amd HD ep 6 next week.

I couldn't find EP5 repeated, only EP4.

So are these failures common? What about the out of disc space problem?

I haven't had any problems with my SKY HD. The forum on digitalspy.co.uk is
a good place to check out.

They normally come with a yellow sticker saying "Enginneer install only.
Perform software update immediately". Do you recall if he did that?

Not sure if he did as I wasn't watching his every move. If that is the
process where you have to pull out power and press a few buttons like with
the sky+ then I am pretty sure he didn't do that.
I will look into whether I need to apply a new update.
