Default Channel 4 +1 on its way?

On your Sky Remote:
Press SERVICES
Choose SYSTEM SETUP
Then ADD CHANNELS

type in these details via your remote:

Frequency(GHz) 12.480
Polarization V
Symbol Rate(Mbaud) 27.5
FEC 2/3

Then select FIND CHANNELS

12005 at the top is the Big Brother transmission 24/7

All the rest come up as Channel 4 +1. No content at the moment, couple are
blank, and the others have a test card.

What do people think about these +1 channels that broadcasters are coming up
with?
Useful for when you come home late? Or a huge waste of bandwidth?

Personally I think they are a waste of bandwidth and they could put it to
better use.

some channels it would be nice, such as normal ITV and BBC but
otherwise generally I can take it or leave it. I have on occasion
caught something with them but not nearly enough to justify that silly
+1.5 Discovery tacked on recently

Could be useful at the moment, but when I finally get around to sorting
Sky+ out I'll reckon they'll be a huge waste of bandwidth.

LOL I wonder who was the brainwave behind +1.5
Didn't one of the channels have a staggered start? Multistart or something

order it I assume.

I think +1 on the main channels is worthwhile. Even with sky+ you might
want to only watch three shows that day and sod's law they will all be on at
9pm.

The FX+2 is more useful though as it timeshifts totally out of primetime.
