Default Lost Sky card.

Our 3 year old has pinched our Sky card & hidden it so well it can't be
found.

If I phone Sky & ask them for a replacement, will they charge me? I'm
tempted to cancel altogether if they try it though.

If I do threaten to cancel, is there any way they would offer a Sky+
box?

Thanks.

Ring and ask. I suspect they will not charge. Also, consider taking the
child's favourite toy and "hiding" it until he remembers where he put the
sky card.

I'll ring tomorrow. He's too young to understand that strategy.

Perhaps if you told him the favourite toy was with the card.
Then follow him.

Phoned Sky, they said that it could be replaced for £10. Threatened to
cancel & they're now sending one for free.

Update: Phoned Sky today to cancel. Didn't offer me any incentives to
stay, apart from a sky+ box for £99.

If you follow through with your cancel you can always back out at last
moment and get it reinstated then maybe sky will ring you and make you
a better offer. They offered me admittedly to come back after cancel a
free a grade sky box and 3 months contract at 7.50 GBP 2 mixes. When I
cancel next month the 160GB Hard Drive is going in my computer ;-)

Once my 1 year old posted The Holy Topfield remote into the VCR tape slot.

Well it was logical and the hole fitted.

We turned over the living room like a Vic Mackay raid before I took a torch
and some tweezers and looked inside the VCR.

Stresss, I can tell you!
