Default Pioneer Elite PRO-510HD Picture Controls are gone

I bought the beauty in the year 2000. So far it has worked great. IN the
past 4 days I see several PICTURE menu controls are suddenly greyed out and
I cant get to them. For example I cant adjust the contrast any more.
Itseems to me that a card inside isprobably telling the firmware that it is
dead and firmware greys out the choice. Does anyone have any suggestions.
I am not afraid to open the back of the TV and poke around. In fact I have
opened it up and used a stick and poked around in the hope that I might get
a connector that might have become loose (I have moved this TV around quite
a bit).

ANy suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I know on my RPTV, if the power goes out to the TV I have to do an
auto convergence before many of the menu items are available. Sounds
to me like you have it in some "auto" type mode. What does your
manual say?
